Birthday / Milestone Sessions

These sessions are SOOO much fun! I’m sure we’ve already chatted about a theme, but if that was missed and you have something specific in mind, I like to be prepared, so just shoot me a message so we can get creative together! If you have specific balloons, signs, or decor, please feel free to bring them! Just let me know ahead of time so I can get the studio ready! I keep a limited amount of props/items at my studio, as it is a smaller space, and I like to keep the main focus on the beauty of the individual in front of me, so don’t feel like you NEED a theme or to bring a bunch of stuff! A cute birthday themed outfit, and the letter board I have in my studio has proven to be adorable for shoots as well! Plus, it saves you a little money :)

I do offer quarterly mini sessions, so if you booked one of those, I will have more specific themes for each gender you can pick from, and by all means you can choose whichever their personality fits best! If you’d like to bring a cake/cupcakes, feel free! Please just have them ready upon arrival if it’s for the mini sessions, so we have as much time as possible to shoot!

Sometimes these sessions are spent reaching for mama and/or crying…that’s just the luck of the draw there! I will still work with you to capture as many photos as possible to give you enough to choose from!

little tip: bring their favorite books, toys, etc…I love some of the beautiful images I have gotten of them playing with their favorite toys, or being read their favorite books, mostly because as parents, we don’t typically take photos of ourselves at one of the most memorable times a child will look back on! Getting read to!
